Garage Surprises

Last night, Tom comes in from the garage where the kids were playing and announces two things. Number one, the kids were using the orange sled as a precarious bridge between the dresser and mattress set leaned up against the side of the garage. Number two, they discovered a stray kitten. Last Christmas, we got the kids a kitten from the local shelter. Sadly, it had a rare reaction to typical feline virus (I think that's what it was) and had to be put down. Me, thinking it was better to not tell the kids what really happens to cats when they get sick, told them Stripes was in heaven. Well, now that they found Milo (they already named him after the cat from Milo and Otis) they're saying the kitten came to them from heaven. Talk about tugging at your heart strings! Stay tuned for whether or not we have seen the last of Milo. :-)
