Here Isaac's participating in his school's Halloween parade, grades K-3. Afterwards, they go to their classrooms and proceed to get Pre Trick-Or-Treating Loot (PTOTL) at the classroom party. This serves the function of an appetizer at a restaurant. Enjoying the taste, but eager for more. Sugar, that is.
Starting out. About the only time the kids were all together.
I ain't afraid of no ghost! Actually, they were at least surprised. I was trying to get the kids' attention when suddenly the ghost starts rising up behind them, thus, this is the angle I got.
Our good friends, the Harveys, who went trick-or-treating with the kids and me. (Though Isaac and Anna spent most of the night blazing the trail, with Aubra and Becca going at a more steady (reasonable) pace). Tom handed out candy in between doing school work.
Our church had a station set up for Trick-Or-Treaters. An outreach opportunity.
A very important part of Trick-or-Treating. The official candy tally.
A video of Isaac in action. For some reason, he preferred to say "Happy Halloween" instead of "Trick-or-Treat" as you'll see here. Everyone seemed to enjoy his enthusiasm. Candy was often greeted with a "Woo-Hoo!" instead of the more traditional "Thank You."
