Trying to push over the Balanced Rock

Isaac spotted cave drawings! More recent than you might think... :)

The kids needed a lift towards the end of the hike

Much volleyball was played, and we have the sore muscles to prove it!
Lots of fun though, and totally worth it.

Tom Unplugged with the magical gold accordion.

We did a lot of extra stuff this year and didn't manage to squeeze in the obstacle course as a group. However, we did do the Trust Fall before leaving (and don't worry--I helped Tom catch the kids after I put down the camera!)

Bunny is quite brave for a stuffed animal.

When autumn wind goes running
It does some magic things.
It gives the shadows dancing shoes
It gives the bright leaves wings
When autumn wind goes running

It curls the bonfire's tail of smoke
And shares a little whispered joke
With cornstalks who delight to prattle
It turns a seed pod into a rattle
When autumn wind goes running
